Walter the circus whale

Here is Walter the circus whale. He is my own unique signature whale designs. He is made in medium weight calico and firmly stuffed with fibre fill. He is then primed twice and then hand painted in professional watercolours and acrylics in a blue green, he has a golden fish swimming with him. He is then varnished in matt varnish. He has a rusty wire spout and is mounted on a yogurt pot that has had papier mache added and then painted and waxed. I loved making him and he has such an expressive eye. 

He is a tall 35cm and 22cm across and 9cm deep.
