FAQ'S

 

 

These are the questions that I am asked frequently.

 

Orders/Shipping - Once an order has been placed I aim to get it posted as quickly as possible. If it is a 'Made to order' this can take up to 2 weeks. I will however keep in touch either via my website or if you are a facebook customer from my business page. 

Worldwide shipping - I sell worldwide and am happy to post almost anywhere. If your country is not on the drop down menu just ping me a message and I will be happy to quote. 

Customs charges - There may be additional customs charges to your country so please do check before purchase. For the UK please see below. 

Post -  I try to keep postale charges as low as I can. I use eco friendly packaging where possible. 

Returns - Returns are excepted as per EU rules. The buyer is however responsible for the postage costs for returns. Please contact me in the first instance to try and resolve any issues you may have.

Contact form - If you need to contact me just use the contact form and I aim to get back to you the same day or at the latest the next day. For perhaps a quicker response message me via my facebook business page.  I am always happy to help. 

Discounts - I'm afraid that I don't offer discounts in general, however I do combine shipping and if you order over €300 I can offer free shipping (contact me first though so I can sort it out before you checkout).

Newsletter -  I send out newsletters just sign up to my subscribe page.

Payment terms - Payment is Paypal, which is safe and easy. If you are within France/EU I also except bank transfers. I am afraid I do not except payment in insallments at this stage. I am happy to hold an item for up to 2 weeks or by negotiation.

Commissions - I'm afraid that I do not do commissions at the moment. However, if you see something you like on my gallery page then I am happy to make something similar. 

Galleries -  I don't sell in galleries and have no plans to do so in the future. 

Wholesale - Due to the nature of my work I don't do wholesale.

 

 SHIPPING TO THE UK

Hello and welcome to my UK customers. Before you purchase from me there are a few new rules that the UK have put in place that you need to know:

  • If your purchase is less than £135/€150 (not including postage) I have to add VAT at point of sale. (The VAT rate for my sales is 5% of the cost including postage). I send this quarterly to UK Revenue & Customs. 
  • I am also required to send a VAT invoice to you showing the amount of VAT in £ sterling, which is calculated using the HMRC exchange rate.
  • If your purchase is above £135/€150 I cannot collect VAT when you pay me. Instead, your postal provider will collect VAT and any other charges. Usually you will get an email/SMS with the amount due (and any handling fee) saying how you can pay. 
  • If you want to go ahead and make a purchase in excess of £135/€150 then please email me first to avoid paying VAT twice and also to work out the most economical  postage arrangement. I can then send an invoice to you without the added VAT. 
  • Please always include your email and phone contact for customs forms.
  • Please also note that what your invoice amount will be the total you pay. You will not get any other surprises.
  • Your paper work will be 1 VAT invoice, 4 customs invoices and 3 commercial invoices. Customes will likely inspect the paperwork but so far no boxes have been opened.
